New Yorkers were asked to help communicate why it is so important to wear a mask to stop the spread of coronavirus.

Over the past two weeks they collected more than 600 submissions from New Yorkers across the state as part of the "Wear a Mask New York Ad Contest."

New Yorkers will choose their favorite from the five finalists below.
