Noticiero El Big Picture del Deporte: Algoritmo para volver gradualmente a la normalidad frente al Coronavirus

El algoritmo para volver gradualmente a la normalidad frente al coronavirus es sencillo y consta de 3 PASOS en lenguaje algorítmico o de 3 PROCESOS en un lenguaje organizacional. El algoritmo se puede aplicar para el mundo en general o para cada país en particular. China, según los datos que informa, ya está en el paso 3 del algoritmo. 

El PASO 1 "CENSO COMPLETO de contaminados" y el PASO 2 "EMPONDERAMIENTO de cada persona como parte de la solución" se ejecutan en paralelo. 

Cuando las condiciones lo justifiquen, es decir cuando el número diario de nuevos casos de contaminados es 0 o muy pequeño, se inicia el PASO 3, el de volver a la normalidad gradualmente con eventos masivos controlados. Me he referido con prioridad, particularmente, a los eventos masivos de las industrias deportivas porque creo que emponderar a los fans es probablemente más sencillo que a la masa en general.

A continuación la descripción de los 3 pasos, con sus imágenes síntesis acompañadas de una explicación más detallada.

PASO 1: Ejecución del algoritmo “CENSO COMPLETO de contaminados” para separar la inmensa mayoría de personas sanas, de la pequeña minoría de las contaminadas. 

Hasta hace poco el mundo en general y cada país en particular tenía una población libre del Coronavirus. Cuando el virus aparece en China y se comienza a propagar en el mundo entero, la propagación inicial fue lenta. El número de casos diarios era casi 0 o muy pequeño. El mayor problema es que los países europeos, principalmente, tomaron medidas drásticas solamente cuando el contagio ya había tomado mucha fuerza. 

La fuerza del contagio del coronavirus de una cierta manera fue menospreciada. En los países se desarrollaron y aún se desarrollan en algunos eventos masivos como si siguieramos en un mundo con una población sana, libre del coronavirus. 

Cada evento masivo tiene el potencial de disparar el número de contagios porque no se sabe el número de personas contaminadas que asisten a ellos. Y porque aún hoy muchas personas no toman las medidas de seguridad necesarias para evitar el contagio. 

Cada país es un caso muy particular. 

Afortunadamente, la inmensa mayoría de la población de cada país sigue estando sana, libre del coronavirus. 

El PASO 1 del algoritmo busca fundamentalmente entonces separar en dos conjuntos disyuntos a las personas sanas y a las personas contaminadas. 

A las personas contaminadas se les aisla para que no contaminen a otros, y en paralelo se curan y se hace la búsqueda de las personas que pudieron haber contaminado. De forma sencilla lo que se quiere es volver a tener el control. Cuando se obtiene el CENSO COMPLETO de las personas contaminadas se ha dado un paso extraordinariamente importante en la solución.

PASO 2: Emponderamiento, en paralelo a la ejecución del PASO 1, de cada persona, para que sea parte de la solución, se proteja al máximo para no contaminarse, no contagiar, y no ser un #Patient31 en grado alguno.

El PASO 2 tiene como objetivo fundamental emponderar a cada persona para que sea parte de la solución. La Organización Mundial de la Salud (World Health Organization, WHO) en alianza con Google han presentado un sencillo, pero extraordinariamente poderoso, procedimiento para emponderar a cada persona como parte de la solución. Es el "DO THE FIVE". 

PASO 3: Con el “CENSO COMPLETO de contaminados” y el público EMPONDERADO a respetar el "DO THE FIVE", gradualmente se pueden ir realizando eventos masivos controlados con asistencia de PERSONAS SANAS. 

Habiendo ejecutados los PASOS 1 y 2, volvemos a estar con una clara separación de la población sana, libre del coronavirus, y la población contaminada, aislada y en proceso de curación. La población sana que es la inmensa mayoría, EMPONDERADA, siempre respetando el "DO THE FIVE", puede gradualmente, de manera controlada, participar de eventos masivos y volver a la normalidad de lo que era la vida antes de que apareciera el coronavirus.  

Esa normalidad se irá recuperando gradualmente. Todo sin contar que en cualquier momento pueden salir a la luz medicamentos para combatir el virus y hasta una vacuna. 

Por lo pronto este algoritmo en 3 PASOS es una buena solución.

El algoritmo para controlar la diseminación del Coronavirus es sencillo. En la imagen arriba está descrito el algoritmo (macro algoritmo para ser más precisos) y algunos comentarios generales. Este algoritmo sirve para el mundo en general, para un país en particular o para cualquier estado, departamento o territorio. 

Las dificultades más grandes para la ejecución del algoritmo son:

1. La identificación de la lista de personas con las que tuvo un contacto riesgoso (es decir a menos de 2 metros de distancia) una persona contaminada.
2. Cuando una persona contaminada entra en contacto en eventos masivos con otras personas casi que tocaría hacerle el test del Coronavirus a todos los asistentes a ese evento porque todos han estado expuestos, en mayor o menor grado, a un agente contaminador altamente contagioso. La propagación del Coronavirus en eventos masivos puede dispararse. 
3. Cuando una persona contaminada ha estado, por ejemplo, en supermercados, allí en cada objeto tocado pudo dejar el virus, y se sabe que el Coronavirus puede vivir hasta 9 días en un objeto. Por completitud del algoritmo debería considerarse todas las personas que han asistido a ese supermercado como potenciales nuevas contaminadas. 

Del algoritmo se pueden deducir varias necesidades generales, por lo menos en cada país:

1. CENSO COMPLETO DE TODOS LOS CONTAMINADOS a partir del Universo INICIAL de casos. A partir del Universo INICIAL de casos se debe ejecutar el algoritmo a la mayor velocidad posible para estar seguro que todos las personas contaminadas están aisladas, están siendo curadas y ya no son más agentes propagadores del virus. 
2. CENSO COMPLETO DE LOS NUEVOS CONTAMINADOS por fuera del Universo INICIAL de casos. Mientras el censo de casos no sea completo pueden estar saliendo nuevos contaminados por fuera del Universo INICIAL de casos. La razón es muy sencilla: el Coronavirus tiene 14 días de incubación y personas contaminadas pueden estar siendo agentes contaminantes sin saberlo y sin sentir los efectos del virus.

In times of trouble, in times of terrorism, in times of uncertainty, there have always been sports. There to distract. There to inspire. There to rally. 

There. Always.

Just not now, it seems.

• March Madness is canceled. The NBA, NHL and Major League Baseball are suspended. Even high school and youth tournaments have been halted or canceled. 
• Presently, there isn’t much left. NASCAR will rev its engines in Atlanta. That’s about it. The sport may boom in popularity. 
• These are unprecedented times in America, in all of the world. The routines of life have been altered. A measure of consistency, of familiarity, of shared calm really could have helped. A sign that somewhere normalcy still ruled. 
• We’ve gotten through a lot before. This time, we’ll have to get through it without sports. At least for now.

Fueron oportunidades que he evaluado subjetivamente de 9/10 (Griezmann), 9.5/10 (Arthur) y 9.5/10 (Messi). 

En el segundo tiempo Real Madrid marcó 2 goles en oportunidades de gol mucho más difíciles de concretar que las que tuvo el Barcelona en el primer tiempo, y Vinicius Jr. y Mariano no tienen la fiabilidad de ninguno de los 3 jugadores del Barcelona. Pero marcaron y ganó el Real Madrid.

Así es el fútbol y así es la vida. Las oportunidades que no se concretan pueden tener una trascendencia definitiva.

• "To me, it's been one of the things that's been missing from our practices this year, the individual workouts of Steph, Klay and Kevin [Durant]," Kerr said. "The last few years post-practice, it's like a clinic. It's a clinic for younger players -- how you have to conduct yourself as an NBA player. The work that you put in once practice is over is really the bar for how good you want to become and how serious you're taking this. And Steph, I've never seen anybody work harder than Steph in his post-practice workouts. And so now we're seeing that, all the younger guys are looking over there and they're seeing him. There’s more to come.” Based on the weekend’s results, a Nairo Quintana that’s 15% better than that is a frightening prospect for those he’ll line up against in July. Maybe it’s not time to write him off just yet. Quintana has been a force in the mountains for as long as he’s been in the WorldTour, so it wasn’t necessarily surprising to see him producing a powerful performance on the slopes of Mont Ventoux. What was a surprise, however, was the way that he won, because it was a stunning rebuttal of all the criticism that’s been directed his way for the last couple of years.

• On the climb up Mont Ventoux, Arkéa-Samsic delivered a tactical masterclass that underlined a burgeoning self-belief. The team massed to the front of the peloton as Ventoux loomed ahead, with Barguil and Quintana’s compatriot Winner Anacona ratcheting up the pace, stringing the peloton out behind them.
• At 7.2 km to the stage finish, Anacona pulled to the side, and in the same instant, Quintana took flight, surging once, glancing back, and surging again. Jumbo-Visma climber Sepp Kuss was the only rider able to follow the acceleration, and that lasted all of 100 metres. By the finish line, Quintana had put 1:20 into his rivals, despite an organised chase behind him. It was, to quote Thibaut Pinot at the stage finish, “imperial”.  
• Since Saturday’s result, more has been made of Quintana’s time up the climb than the victory itself. The Houston Astros tried silence. They tried remorse or regret or something. I’m not sure exactly. They oversteered. They tried press conferences in which they summoned the vibes of a fifth-grade oral report. They even, way back when, tried denials. They understeered. Soon, they’ll point out that they are, if you really think about it, victims. Give it time.

• There are people out there who fear for the sport, who mourn for the lost integrity of entire baseball seasons, who wish none of this happened. There also are people who take this personally. Not all of them are in the stands, and some of their ire is valid. Even Manfred, speaking Sunday afternoon in Florida and defending the immunity-for-honesty methodology of his investigation, reminded that there is no deeper humiliation in the game than having been a Houston Astros batter in 2017. It’s no fun to have dictated the lede of your career obituary at, say, 25. The Astros have. 
• So, they will, in 2020 and for who knows how long after that, play every night against every wronged player, every angry fan, every ball writer on deadline, in every market but one. Their own.
• It will be hard. Sometimes embarrassing. The voices will be loud. The judgments louder. Teams are coming for them. And they’ll know they’ll have earned most of it, if not all of it.
• Hell, they might as well go full heel. They might as well enjoy it.

House of Highlights, 2020 NBA All-Star Game - Full Game Highlights - Team LeBron vs Team Giannis - February 16, 2020

The best game in years capped a sparkling All-Star Weekend that served as a tribute to the late Kobe Bryant (24 was one of his uniform numbers and the target fourth quarter score). After years of players approaching the game not to get hurt and pull off a couple of acrobatic plays, the All-Star Game resembled a playoff game, with players vigorously arguing calls, challenging each other defensively, and making the extra pass instead of the showboating play. The result was one of the more exciting All-Star Games in decades and it’s almost a certainty the NBA will stick with this new format. 

• The league devised a new game format, with each team playing to win quarters and then an untimed fourth period with the winning team needing to add 24 points to its combined score for three quarters.
• With Team Giannis leading by 9 points after their first three quarter scores were a combined 133, the target score became 157. And Team Giannis and Team LeBron played as physical and defensive-themed fourth quarter that brought shades of All-Star Games from the 1980s and ’90s.
• Anthony Davis of Team LeBron sealed the game with a free throw for a 157-155 win. While the ending with a free throw was anticlimactic, the passionate play that led up that conclusion was the storyline.

Starting near the mediteranian coast in Istres, the race winds north through the lavender fields of Provence and two categorised climbs before hitting the lower slopes of Mont Ventoux. Whilst the race doesn’t take in the full climb and finishes at Chalet Reynard, it is still the queen stage of the race. Arguably the hardest roads on the mountain are part of the 14km, and average 7.6%. Expect the GC to be decided in an explosive fight on the giant of Provence.

« Des journées comme celle-ci sont à savourer. Nous sommes venus avec des ambitions, mais au-delà des intentions nous avons tenu notre rang, avec ce beau succès de Nairo au sommet du Chalet Reynard. Toute l’équipe s’est investie pour permettre à Nairo de gagner cette étape et enfiler ce maillot de leader du Tour de la Provence. Je tiens à saluer la course de Bram Welten, Connor Swift et Nacer Bouhanni qui ont placé les grimpeurs au pied de la dernière difficulté. Maxime Bouet, lui, est tout simplement énorme depuis la première étape de ce Tour de la Provence. Je terminerais par le super boulot effectué dans la montée du Mont Ventoux de Winner Anacona et Warren Barguil en faveur de Nairo. On sent l’équipe soudée, et que les coureurs travaillent sans retenue les uns pour les autres, sachant que forcément au cours de la saison les cartes seront redistribuées. Aujourd’hui, j’ai retrouvé sur cette étape le Nairo Quintana que j’avais dirigé au tout début de sa carrière, avec l’expérience en plus, mais cette même soif de cyclisme offensif ».

MLS is the second best-represented league in the top 100, trailing only the Premier League. 

Seventeen MLS clubs are ranked in the latest edition of the Soccerex Football Finance 100 (FF100), a report compiled by global soccer business outfit Soccerex to evaluate and rank the top 100 soccer clubs across the world according to their finances.

• LAFC were rated highest in MLS at No. 18 overall, narrowly ahead of in-city rivals LA Galaxy at No. 22. Reigning MLS Cup champions Seattle Sounders are the third MLS club on the list, at No. 27 overall. 

There are 15 different leagues represented in the top 100. 

UK clubs make up the biggest portion with 23 - 18 Premier League Clubs and five EFL clubs. Major League Soccer is the next most represented league with 17 clubs – 15 from the United States and two from Canada – followed by LaLiga and Serie who both have 11 clubs and then the Bundesliga which has 10.

Several of his teammates noted his serious tone in the pregame locker room as he suited up 80 minutes before tipoff -- far earlier than usual -- to show his level of preparedness. James went on to lead L.A. with 32 points, 14 assists and 12 rebounds to notch his 12th triple-double of the season and keep pace with Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks for the league lead. It was James' 20th triple-double since he joined the Lakers, making him just the fourth player in team history to record that many, joining Magic Johnson, Elgin Baylor and Kobe Bryant, according to research by the Elias Sports Bureau.

• Davis had one of his best games as a Laker on Wednesday, single-handedly outscoring the Nuggets 7-5 in overtime en route to a final line of 33 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 steals.
• He said the Lakers reclaimed their edge before the layoff, and they did so in what several players described in the postgame locker room as a "playoff atmosphere."
• The Lakers are 10-5 against teams with better than .500 records, including 2-1 against the Nuggets, with both wins coming at the Pepsi Center and the loss occurring in a game James sat out.

• The Nuggets were the hottest team in the league, having won six of seven, including short-handed stunners at Milwaukee and Utah. 
• So, James, who had 32 points, 14 assists and 12 rebounds, saw this as playoff prep.
  ''Every opportunity we get to play in a close game against a tough opponent, it's a learning experience for all of us,'' he said. ''It prepares us for a postseason game where it's going to be back and forth, back and forth. I thought tonight was a playoff atmosphere for both teams, being No. 1 and No. 2 in the Western Conference, jockeying for position. We were just trying to make plays whatever it takes. Pogačar and Bernal are among a wave of young riders - including Remco Evenepoel - tasting success in their early years as professionals and doing away with the notion that the early 20s are about serving a sort of apprenticeship. The pair are set to clash at this year’s Tour de France and could forge a rivalry over the next decade or so. Team Ineos director Nicolas Portal believes the impact being made by young riders is in part due to the wealth of data at their disposal, negating the 'trial-and-error' process of adaptation to the professional ranks.

• "I'm not going to compare Egan with Pogačar because that would be disrespectful to them both," Portal said. "The only thing you can say is 'fuck, those guys are flying, and they’re kids.'"
• The Slovenian, who won three stages and finished third overall at the Vuelta a España in his first season, started his second in style by winning the Valenciana title at what Portal saw as a canter.
• "You could see his shape, his back, how he was moving on the bike, and you could feel he was not going full gas, that if there were three or four guys there to fight with him he could have found this extra gear," Portal said of the stage 4 victory.
  "It was like at the Vuelta – when he went, he just did his own thing, like 'I go guys'. For sure, this kid is unbelievably strong, and he seems to be a nice guy, too."
